The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with leads to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
The business development trainee will focus on training in customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet potential clients. The internee will be responsible to research client business referrals, network, and web leads; providing prospective customers/clients with all services offered and additional presentations as needed, and working with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult throughout the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue. The ideal candidate will be trained for 6 months to manage the entire lifecycle of Business Development starting from Lead Generation to Requirement Gathering to Documentation to Negotiation to Closure and Account Management. Post the training period the candidate will be promoted from Business Development Intern to Business Development Executive. The first 6 months the candidate would be on stipend and then once promoted would be advanced to full payroll.
